What happened this morning?

The EA was auto closing trades on my **luckily** demo accounts.
It looks it was closing out half the positions.. a couple of times within one minute.
Maybe margin call? Yesterday I had almost 400% left...
But the EA wasn't exactly protecting the account balance with these actions.

But may I say I am happy this was just on my demo.

Hello Eric.
That does not look like a balanced portfolio but without knowing more details it is hard to comment.
Please send me a description of the portfolio and trade history of both accounts via E-Mail.

I will then take a look to it.

Thank You!
Alexander

I wonder if this is the "issue" I just came across on my demo EURUSD account? The Master is set to close 50% of the trade when a low margin limit is reached. EURUSD spiked high and the EA closed 50% of the losing trade. Then, the market retraced, so the winning trade no longer counterbalances the loss.

I have the setting changed on the Master now (seems to be the default?). Is this advisable or is there some reason the 50% close setting at a low margin limit should be kept? I understand the portfolio needs to be rebalanced regularly, but if there is a sudden swing in the market followed by recovery, this close of the losing trade undoes the hedge, so I'd rather get rid of it. Thanks :)
